on Thursday (7/7/11) Jack had his two week appointment! he weighed 8lbs 13oz, he is in the 45% for weight, and he was 21 1/2in long, 75% for height! His doctor said he is just perfect... I think he is too ;)

So far he has been a great baby. He has been very vocal, but not fussy. He makes a lot of cute noises all of the time. He is also very wiggly. Which i don't find very surprising! he was ALWAYS moving around when I was pregnant. Also, he only wakes up twice a night to eat, which make my life a lot easier :)

It hasn't all been so easy though. It's hard having Matt away. I have been managing taking care of Riley too, but I feel bad because I can no longer give her as much attention. it's also hard getting out of the house and running errands! I definitely have a lot more respect for single parents (not that I didn't before), but having to take care of a newborn by yourself is no easy feat! I know that it will just get easier as time goes on and we have more of a routine established :)
