Today Matt left for Cuba :( I'm so thankful we got to spend his entire leave time together as a new family! I couldn't be more thankful. Matt is such a wonderful Dad already, I wish he could be here to watch Jack grow every day. Hopefully he will be able to come home and visit soon! I'm thankful for our technology though, it makes it so much easier to stay in touch ;) Saying goodbye wasn't easy though. It just seemed wrong and unnatural. A new father shouldn't have to say goodbye to his two week old baby. Thankfully though, Matt is going to a safe place, so we don't have to worry about anything happening to him. I'm also so thankful to all of our wonderful friends and family who helped us by bringing us delicious meals, and also for all of your prayers and continued support. We are truly SO thankful!
